I often get asked what does a vegetarian eat during Iftar and my answer always is you would be surprised! Go check out the options in my Iftars category 🙂
Having said that, I was so surprised at the delicious food I got to experience today at the Sea-side Ramadan Tent at Ajman Kempinski 😍
I would firstly like to highlight their hospitality – it’s better than anywhere I have ever been to. It’s so warm and makes you feel at home.
Coming to the tent, it’s by the sea side and is perfect to watch the sunset while breaking your fast. It’s priced at only AED 140 and has a beautiful ambience incorporating aqua colors to reflect that it’s by the sea side. After 8:30 the colors start changing and makes it all the more pretty.
When you start walking towards the tent they have lit up the corridor with tiny lights which give you the feeling of walking under the stars and is magical. They also have a bazaar like decor aspect to give you an insight of their traditions and a cultural feel. You then walk into a majlis where Suhoor is served in the wee hours and then to the main Ramadan Tent. The entire walk from the start till when you reach the tent is beautiful!!!
Food is brilliant. Dates on the table, 20 salads all fresh and refreshing, soup and bread station, traditional Juices counter, appetizer of cheese sambousek, a LIVE Manakeesh counter with the most delicious cheese dripping saj and Manakeesh, a live pasta station where I experienced the tastiest white sauce and a lavish dessert spread. A vegetarian couldn’t ask for more!
Ended the evening with piping hot Moroccan tea and beautiful vintage Arabic music. They also serve sheesha which is not included in this price.
Our entire experience was AH-MAZING and the best part was we were joined and personally take care of by Ms Amira who works for the Kempinski and is delightful company 🙂 They truly know how to make you feel welcome.
Highly recommended especially for the views and the live stations.
Iftar is priced at only AED 140 and start from sunset till 8:30 PM.
