Sometimes, all you need is a basic, no fuss, simple brunch where all your options are in one room and you don’t have to wander from room to room. Such lazy Fridays are meant for brunching in peace and that’s exactly what you will get at Hawthorn.
A lot of people wonder what vegetarian options will be there in a brunch but c’mon let’s agree, you CANNOT eat more than a few options and a lot of options sometimes overwhelm you! And that’s what i loved about this brunch. The simplicity of it all.
Priced at AED 125, i had a variety of juices to choose from. They don’t serve alcohol here. From the beautiful bread station to the cheese station, everything tasted pretty good. The starters had moutabel served in eggplants and cute baskets of croutons with mixed greens which could be topped with a dressing of your choice.
The salads had German potato salad, Thai noodle salad, Beetroot carpaccio, Cauliflower masala salad and Spring salad.
There were a variety of cold mezze’s like Hummus, Tabouleh, Beetroot Hummus and more!
The mains had Hasselback Potatoes which were yum, Lemon Rice and Vegetable Lasagne.
And the most beautiful looking were the desserts! They tasted as good as they looked and I liked almost all.

Just look at them! Too pretty to eat 🙂
They also had face painting to keep the kids busy. From my perspective, this was a pretty great deal to enjoy the many offerings they had.
