One of the finest places to indulge in a Far Eastern food adventure, Tangerine’s quality and flavours are what make the food stand out. We tried a Vegetarian Starter Selection which consisted of Spring Rolls, Fried Corn Balls and Steamed Dumplings. These came with a side of plum sauce and the spring rolls were my favourite!
We also tried the Salt and Pepper Vegetables which had many a colorful vegetable which were battered and fried decently and were crispy and mouth watering.
They have an open kitchen concept wherein you can watch the chefs prepare your food and stimulate your senses with the aroma of the food. Opulent textures, dramatic shapes and the low key glitter of dozens of candles and gilded objects give Tangerine a cozy glamour.
For the mains, we indulged in the Red Thai Curry, Green Thai Curry, Steamed Rice, Exotic Oriental Vegetables in Black Bean Sauce and Veg Pad Thai. Each and every dish was bursting with flavour but i particularly loved the red thai curry and the pad thai. The curry was nice and mildly spicy and balanced with a coconut cream.
For the dessert we had the Sticky Rice with Mango which was really good and the Brownie With Ice Cream. I loved the former as it was bursting with appetizing flavors and is always a plus point if a Thai restaurant gets this right!
