When your Indian themed buffet is made oh so lovingly by a very jolly and humble Chef, you are bound to have a happy stomach with every bite 🙂
Upon meeting Celebrity Chef Sweety Singh who launched the Art of Spice at Pullman with his culinary skills, we were all very excited to try his cooking and were not at all disappointed! This buffet will definitely be ranked as one of the best Indian buffets I have ever experienced because the food was so homely and had a burst of flavor with every bite. We started off with some nice and thick saffron lassi and it was so good i can go back only for this too!
The spread was extensive and I could not eat everything. There was a live kebab station, naan station, chaat corner serving pani puri and a huge dessert station. For the gravies I tried the Dhaba Makhani Paneer, Kadi Pakoda, Sarson Da Saag, Aloo Wadiyan, Kali Daal and paneer tikka’s. The food tasted like it had come out of a Punjabi home and was absolutely delicious!
There was a huge variety of salads and pickles alone and you MUST taste each and every pickle available there. You will be surprised at the variety that can be made.
For desserts there was a huge range of both Indian and international desserts so you could pick whatever tickled your fancy.
The Mango Mousse and the Kheer were delicious and so was the Gulab Jamun.
The whole setup was brilliant and the use of Indian artifacts was gorgeous.
For those interested in art and jewelry, there is a beautiful display downstairs by Jorness Jewels showcasing exquisite and beautifully crafted jewels and an art show named “Colors of Pride” curated by Atul Panase featuring the pride of India with a splash of modern color.
Priced at only AED 120, this themed night is not to be missed!
