Raju Omlet – Eggs that will Exceed your Eggspectations

Raju Omlet is a favorite and if you haven’t been here yet, you don’t know what you are missing out on!

When I was called here toΒ try their new Dinner menu i was baffled at the new options! The king of Indian style omelettes had incorporated various dishes with and without eggs and they were to die for! Their 2nd branch in Al QuozΒ is a lot more spacious than the first one in Karama and the walls were adorned with all things eggy and quirky that Raju Omlet is so famously known for.

Our spread below was fit for royalty!

We tried:

Pudina Chai – A soothing blend of tea and fresh mint. It was a complete mind refresher and one of the most unique teas i have had in an Indian tea shop.

Paneer Tikka Masala – Barbecued cubes of paneer, capsicum and onion simmered in a special onion-curd gravy. Very flavorful and high on the spices, this dish will take you back to the dhaba wala’s in India. A lip smacker. The orange juice that we had with it was super fresh and refreshing.

Cheese Pulao – Delicious Cheddar Cheese grated over spicy tava pulao. Also a street side favorite in India, Raju Omlet did complete justice to this dish.

Paneer Achari Roll – Cubes of fresh malai paneer spiced with tangy Indian pickle, stuffed and rolled in paratha. This is filling and beware if you don’t like it spicy.

Mumbai Omlet – Omlet Sandwich spiced up with the famous Mumbai vada pav chutney that has a punch of garlic, coconut and red chilli powder. This is my favourite! Its simple and the buttery pav makes it all the more delicious.

Chilli Cheese Omlet – One of my favs, this spicy omlet is a lot better if you team it up with their amazing green chutney which goes well with every dish!

I love the space here and how it makes you feel right at home.

It gets very busy during daytime especially on the weekends so it’s best to get there early. Perfect for the full family, Raju Omlet is one place which will become a favorite pretty quickly.
