Royal Mughal – Food so Epic, Wars were Fought over It

If there was a rating more than 5, I would give them that! Their food, service, freshness is all more than you can imagine and this is hands down the BEST bistro style Indian food I have ever had!

Every dish is bursting with mouth watering flavours and so fresh! I tried SO many dishes here in 2 different occasions and they did not fail to impress. With a very casual but Royal theme, this bistro will surely capture your heart with the fact that it’s food is non-oily, non-spicy and yet so flavourful!

I had:

Mango Lassi – Thick and creamy and very heavy, this is a meal in itself. It is also very addictive and by the end of your meal you would have enjoyed it to the fullest.

Bhel Chaat – This street food indian favourite was served bistro style and was quite unique. It will delight your senses. It comes with a side of chutneys which can be poured over the bhel as per your liking.

Pav Bhaji – The PB here will come in my top 5 pav bhaji’s in Dubai list. I can’t even explain how lovely the taste was. The pav’s too were lightly buttered and nicely crisped. The dish screams of freshness and you can taste the high quality ingredients gone into making it. If you are a PB addict like me, you will truly appreciate how it is made.

Chole Bhature – I became a fan here! Chole with one of the most amazing gravies I have ever eaten and fluffy bhature were the highlight of our meal. Both the times I have gone, i have thoroughly enjoyed this dish. The best part is how amazing it tastes inspite of being non spicy.

Hara Bhara Kabab – This was madness! They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and were gone in a flash! You could actually taste the flavours of the spinach which were nice and not too strong either.

Bombay Veg Grilled Sandwich – This came with a side of fries and was grilled. It was huge and brilliant. I love bombay sandwiches and this came pretty close. I actually finished this even though i was already too stuffed so you can imagine the freshness it had which led me to eat the whole thing.

Vada Pav – One of the best, truly, I know i am saying that for all their food, but that’s how good it is! Served with sweet and mint chutneys, this was so good! The vada was crispy and huge and the vada pav can easily be shared by two.

Samosa – You wouldn’t have had crispy samosas like these in a long time. It’s very hard to find good samosas in Dubai and i am so glad i found one of the freshest and crispiest here!

Daal Makhani and Naan – Both were amazing! The daal was creamy and thick and quite appetizing. It went very well with the garlic naan it came with.

Paneer Tikka Masala – You will be transported to a Punjabi household! The gravy was just how i like it, thick and bursting with delicious flavours. The food here is so good you have to try it to believe it. The paneer was soft and luscious.

Aloo Tikki Burger – A burger huge enough to feed a battalion, this amazing Indian style burger is good when had hot. It is quite big and can easily be shared by two. The aloo tikki was very good. I love Indian burgers!

Desserts – Dark Chocolate Mousse, Gulab Jamun and Phirni – Not being a fan of dark chocolate, I loved the other 2 desserts. The phirni needs to be put in the spotlight because it was mind blowing!

And finally, no indian meal is complete without masala chai. This one comes with very less sugar and refreshing after that entire meal!

I HIGHLY recommend this place! So highly that i can’t recommend it enough! To taste the freshness to the fullest, please go and dine in here. I have already been here twice and can’t wait for my 3rd visit πŸ™‚
