Four Points by Sheraton, Bur Dubai, has opened its first Italian restaurant, Ricetta. Chef Alex Sebastianutti, the head chef, believe in pleasing guests with home-cooked fine dining at the luxury property in the heart of Dubai’s historic district.
Ricetta features the authentic ambience of an Italian trattoria with mustard yellow walls, endearing red and white checkered tablecloths and black and white posters featuring scenes from Italy. Bread baskets display the bread specialty of the day along with accompaniments including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, marinara and sun-dried tomatoes. Even raw pasta is on display.
Ricetta’s dishes are made with bona fide Italian ingredients to enhance the flavors of home-cooked Italian meals. Guests are offered such classics as Gamberi Piccanti or Ossobucco alla Milanese, in addition to numerous vegetarian options. Guests may also experience a number of homemade dishes including homemade ravioli featuring pumpkin and cheese (Provola Affumicata).
Multilingual Head Chef Alex Sebastianutti hails from a 13 year career and extensive expertise in the realms of Italian cuisine and fine dining. The Italian chef’s professional culinary journey includes positions as Chef de Partie and Chef de Cuisine in Italy, Germany, Abu Dhabi and now Dubai.
We tried a Polenta, Arrabiata Pasta, Margherita Pizza, Burrata on Toasted Bread, Salad, Gnocchi and delectable desserts. I absolutely loved the Strawberry Tiramisu which is something i have never come across.
“Italian cooking calls for great recipes, high quality, authentic ingredients and a good dose of passion. You can be sure you’ll find the heartiest homemade meals at Ricetta which will remind you of your grandmother’s cooking, the kind of meals that intrigue, satisfy and keep guests returning for more. High end comfort food at its finest,” explains Chef Sebastianutti.
Four Points by Sheraton, Bur Dubai’s sixth dining venue will be home to a daily aperitif time and the option to order for take away or delivery.
