The recently launched Family Friday brunch at Kenza in Ramada Downtown is all about good food served with simplicity.
The restaurant is part of the famous hotel brand’s Downtown branch which has quickly gained recognition to be one of the most popular areas in Dubai now as it is so closely located to the Dubai Mall. The family friednly hotel has started this brunch to treat your taste buds to uniquely exotic flavors true to this part of the world, combined with familiar favorites excellently prepared by their skilled chefs.
We started off with drinks as beautiful as this one which were a part of the spread and added a sparkle to our lazy afternoon.

Their indoor and outdoor areas served salads, a selection of breads and sushi and dessert indoors whereas the live barbecure along with a buffet, pasta station and a kids corner is outdoors.
The salads were a mix selection between arabic and international. All dishes were prepared with good quality ingredients and the spread is neither extensive nor complex which in a way reflects the relaxed atmosphere of the place. The sushi selection is vast and absolutely delicious making me help myself to seconds.
The buffet didn’t have a lot of vegetarian variety except baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. But if the staff at the restaurant knows before hand that a vegetarian guest is going to be coming, they can make a vegetarian curry or gravy if requested. I admire when restaurants go out of their way to accommodate a certain request.
The pasta made at the live station was very good and i quickly gulped it down. The baked potatoes could be loaded with sour cream and were enjoyed by my hungry stomach. I also helped myself to a few french fries from the kids section along with a fluff of candy floss. I didn’t want to indulge in too much of it and was happy with the little cloud on the stick.
The desserts included mini pastries, mousses, fruit shots and an indian dessert all of which had balanced flavours and presented well. My favourite was the chocolate fountain with the variety of accompaniments that could be dipped into it.
The interiors are spacious and have indoor and outdoor seating. With the good weather now in Dubai, a lot of guests were enjoying the winter breeze.
Upon walking for a couple of minutes in one of the secluded areas, you will find yourself facing one of the most stunning views of the Burj Khalifa and the water fountain area outside the Dubai Mall. It was truly a spectacular view.
Kenza’s unique character and contemporary design and ambiance draws in a diverse mix of guests, on all kinds of occasions. It is a perfect place to dine and unwind amidst the relaxing view of the Burj Khalifa.
