Rooftop Burj Club – Brunching at Burj Khalifa, the World’s Tallest Building

It’s a dream for most to visit the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. Known for its renowned restaurants and world class fitness centre, The Burj Club, the Burj Khalifa has now started Friday brunches at the Rooftop of the Burj Club which overlooks the stunning fountain views and looks up to the magnificent tall structure known as the Burj Khalifa.

Upon entering, you will cross the pool, the bar area and are welcomed by the open space with the buffet to one side and the tables and chairs laid out nicely without being too close to each other. Guests get enough privacy without missing out on the electric vibe wherein  a DJ is playing the latest beats while you sip away into the evening.

The best part I found was that the brunch was a haven for vegetarians! I had:

Mashed Potatoes – Velvety mash of potatoes made to absolute perfection!

Vegetarian Sushi – Filled with cucumber, carrots and avocado and absolutely fresh with high quality ingredients.

Sweet Potato Hummus, Beetroot Moutabbel, Quinoa Salad – Each and every dish was as flavourful in taste as it was in quality. The looked so good, you will want to eat everything.

Zucchini wrap and Buns with grilled vegetables – These were a delight. Soft exteriors with flavourful vegetables inside and served in perfect sizes.

There was a live Pasta station serving the most delicious pasta in whatever sauce you wanted. I was very happy to find out that the pasta was not too Al Dente and extremely saucy and mouth watering.

The main courses had a delicious Thai Green Curry which was a bit spicy and bursting with flavours! It went well with the steamed rice which was a part of the buffet. There was also Zucchini Pizza, French Fries and Stir Fried Noodles. It was a vegetarian lovers dream.

The dessert platter too was nothing short of amazing. Not a part of the buffet and served to you on the table after your meal is over, the mini pastries and cheesecakes were a tickle to the tastebuds. The fruit platter had fresh fruits which was a delight to the eyes.

I loved the macaroons which were soft and velvety.

And the most beautiful looking dessert award goes to:

It was beauty in a cup.

With all this, I enjoyed a glass of red wine and couldn’t be happier how the 1st month of this new year was going. It was truly a way to say Cheers to the world and be thankful that I called Dubai my home.

Cheers Burj Khalifa! You are Spectacular 🙂 And your brunch was more than amazing!
