‘La Maison du French burger’ which means ‘The House of the French Burger’ has finally made its way to Dubai. Big Fernand, the French gourmet “fast-good” burger chain, opened its very first workshop in Outlet Village, Dubai on the 15th of December 2016. The launch was a huge success, with customers experiencing the exquisite taste of their menu and a fun French ambience.
The French hamburgés workshop is now open for all who want to experience the true taste of gourmet burgers, ‘Fernandines’ (French-fries made in-house), special drinks and desserts, made with the choicest of ingredients. The foot tapping 80’s music, a wooden décor, cheese display, fun expressions and everything French is sure to delight senses, beyond taste buds. Every detail is thought out to take one on a journey through the streets of France, filled with the smell of freshly baked breads, high spirited laughs and of course hamburgés. It’s a gastronomic experience unlike any other.
I tried the fries which were quite addictive and the mushroom and cheese burger where the bun was soft and the filling quite light and tasty.
Big Fernand is sure to rekindle the flames with burger’s most unswerving love. They combine the popular culture around a dish that brings all kinds of people together with products gathered from the farthest villages of good old France. 7 signature hamburgés compete with one another to win you over. If not them, 3840 possible combinations await you.
Conceived and concocted on a small Parisian street, to revisit the eternally favourite hamburgés, Big Fernand was born on the 18th of January 2012. It now has more than 25 workshops to its name in France, London, Hong Kong, and now in Dubai. With a highly efficient staff and a process in place, Big Fernand boasts exceptional speed with a customer being served every 40 seconds.
The price may be a bit more expensive than the other burger joints in town, but the quality speaks for itself. However I would definitely wish for the burger to be bigger and more filled.
Go and have them to decide for yourself. I heard the meat ones are to die for! Bon Appétit!
