For all those who have been praying they need an all veg restaurant serving cuisine other than Indian, your prayers have been answered!
Quattro opened doors to the public a few months back and has been getting rave reviews ever since. Serving Italian and Mexican cuisines, they cook up some great and innovative dishes with a touch of molecular gastronomy which is thankfully not overdone.
At a recent bloggers event, we got to try some of their best sellers and here are the dishes we tried:
Taquitos – Fried Gluten Free Tortilla Cones filled with beans, jalapenos, tomatoesalsa and avocado ice cream! The cutest and super delicious, this one makes for a unique appetizer. The Avocado ice cream is to die for!
Risotto Palle – My favourite! A combination of cream risotto and cheese, crumbed and fried served with chilli oil pipettes, these little balls of heaven are luscious and the chilli oil is a great addition not only to the presentation but even to the taste!
Corn Cakes Avocado Salsa – Grilled Corn Cakes topped with sour cream foam and avocado salsa. If you are a corn lover, then this one is for you!
Filo Parcels – Spiced corn and olives wrapped in filo pastry and baked till crispy. I unfortunately don’t enjoy olives or corn as much so this one wasn’t for my tastebuds.
Margherita Upside Down – Known to be a specialty in Naples, I have never had this anywhere in Dubai before. This signature pizza of Quattro comes with the cheese on a crispy pizza base and the margherita sauce on top. Its delicious to say the least.
Ravioli Rose – The BEST ravioli and pink sauce I have ever had in Dubai. My search for the tastiest one is now officially over. The pink sauce was rich and creamy and the spinach stuffed ravioli was soft and delicious.
Risotto Funghi – Made with Shitake Mushrooms, this risotto was enjoyed by all my friends. I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to eat it as I was too stuffed by then.
Hazelnut Mousse – Served with Candied Hazelnut and Popcorn, this mousse was like a ferrero rocher crushed into a luscious velvety format. Beautifully light and went perfectly with its accompaniments.
Tres Leches – This classic mexican cake was served in a deconstructed form and it was moist and tasty.
The best part about Quattro other than the food are also it’s interiors with 2 tables in the middle hosting mini waterfalls. The color combination of the entire restaurant is unlike something I have witnessed in Dubai. Beautiful blues and greens with a tree in the middle give it a very earthy feel.

This place is apt for family gatherings, casual date night or an all vegetarian night. Undoubtedly, one of my fav restaurants due to it’s unique dishes, explosion of flavours and great ambience.
