I love desi food! And when the food is served in a traditional yet contemporary style, it makes the experience even better.
There’s a lot to love about 25 degrees North. From their fabulous service to the lush drinks to the scrumptious food, everything here was quite impressive. Their portion sizes are big and can easily feed 3 people.
After being seated at one of their spacious tables, we were given complimentary pre-appetizers. A Lassi Shot and a Dahi Bhalla made for a delicious start. We ordered the Blue Lagoon which was extremely refreshing.
For starters we called for the Vegetarian Mixed Platter which consisted of Paneer Tikka, Vegetable Seekh Kabab, Stuffed Potato, Mushrooms, and Yoghurt stuffed kebabs. I loved the last one the most! It was perfectly cooked and the yoghurt was not overpowering.
For main course we opted for the Pakoda Kadhi which was delicious and tasted like it was homemade.
Even the Black Daal was mouth watering and definitely one of the finest I have had. Everything went very well with the butter naan we had requested.
The dessert of Gulab Jamun was soft, warm and the perfect end to our meal.
The only thing I found a bit complicated was the parking around this location. It’s hard to understand where to park and get to the restaurant then on foot. Other than this, once you get there, everything else seems worth it.
Contemporary decor, innovative menu serving Indian and Mughlai delicacies, and an unconventional name derived from Dubai’s latitudinal position on the world map. I recommend this restaurant for occasions and when you want to impress guests.
