Amongst the bustling array of DIFC lies this casual yet funky, surprise element called Dusty’s. With rough woody style décor and dim lights, this place has an artistic appeal to it.
It is an ideal place for a small date, a casual hangout with buddies or even for a girls night out. You can come here alone too, if you want to take some time off during work or post that, hoping for a lazy, relaxed evening or to ponder about things over a glass of wine.
Dusty’s is a reflection of its owner, Mr Dusty Taurani, who believed in combining all his travel experiences and giving clients a comfortable space to eat and relax. And I absolutely admire this concept. Being yourself has it’s own simplicity and beauty. Dusty’s has something for everyone.
Apart from the services which were excellent, Dusty’s provides other essentials like WiFi, outdoor seating, breakfast, valet parking and very friendly staff. You can also relax at the full bar or enjoy their outdoor terrace area. There is a lot you can devour from the items on their menu, even if you are a vegetarian.
To begin with the feast, I savored the cheesy garlic bread. It was baked to perfection. Golden and crispy, with garlic on top and a delightful spread of mozzarella. Along with this Nectarine mocktail which i really liked as it wasn’t too sweet. Dusty’s has a widespread menu for pastas, drinks, teas, snacks, and desserts. There are a good variety of sides too.
Then arrived my delish pink penne pasta. You get other options like linguine, gnocchi, fettuccine too but I opted for penne. The pasta was creamy and cheesy. with the perfect amount of sauce in it and was served fresh and hot. I loved it! Was very tasty.
Following this for dessert, was the very delicious French toast. Now there’s this thing about French toast. People have different versions of it, and it’s cooked with slight variations everywhere, obviously depending on taste buds. Traditionally the French toast is a bit sweet and salty, it’s dipped in beaten eggs and milk or cream and fried with eggs coating. Here in Dusty’s you get it with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. It was divine!
Lastly to cure my sweet tooth further, I found love in the chocolate fondant. With caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, it tasted just perfect. The molten chocolate on the inside oozed out beautifully as we cut into it. It wasn’t very sweet.
There’s lots more to explore at Dusty’s. I will definitely go back for another delightful experience.
