Imagine a unique getaway destination set on a man-made marvel on the coastline of Dubai that entices one and all with a distinct blend of serenity and splendor. It offers an urban escape where a decadent experience awaits you.
Perched on the eastern crescent, an archipelago of islands connected to the mainland, Anantara The Palm Resort is a remarkable resort inspired by traditional Thai architecture in an Arabian setting. It is at a driving distance of 45 minutes from the Dubai International Airport and within an easy reach of exciting attractions including Aquaventure Water Park, Mall of the Emirates, Ski Dubai and Dubai Marina.
Designed with true Asian flair, it offers an enchanting beach side accommodation, complemented by cuisine from Asia as well as the Mediterranean served at four speciality venues. Unwind in one of three turquoise swimming lagoons, enjoy at the tennis courts or gym, or indulge in a choice of treatments at Anantara Spa. The resort also has a ballroom, six meeting rooms, a kids club and teens club, all adding to the splendour of this idyllic beach side resort destination on the Palm in Dubai.
My visit to this resort was indeed one of the best especially during this month of the year as their Iftar was very unique. They had Indian live counters serving some amazing Ragda Pattice and South Indian delicacies with all sorts of different chutneys. There was sushi, a noodle station, loads of desserts, drinks, salads, breads, soups and main courses.
The tables were set in a unique manner more like sharing tables. The setup was beautiful and there was an Arabic tea counter and an oud player which livened up the evening.
