To cater to this demand, Manzil Downtown is a unique and stunningly beautiful hotel which is perfect for the urban traveler or for the residents who want to get away and enjoy a relaxed staycation within the city.

We checked into a Deluxe Burj View Room where the interiors had a modern design with a traditional Arabesque flair. The most captivating feature of the room is the view of the spectacular Burj Khalifa. Other than the stunning art on the wall above the bed, the bed itself is one of the comfiest you will sleep in.

We had brunch, dinner and breakfast at the amazing restaurant situated inside the hotel named The Courtyard. As the hotel rotates around modern Arabic flair, the breakfast too had modern Arabic dishes. I enjoyed the fact that they were making Eggs Benedict right in front of your eyes! You don’t get to experience this in often. The selection of croissants, breads, salads, cheeses, and other savories was enough to make you wish that breakfast could go on forever!

With plenty of fun activities to keep the children entertained, this is a brunch the whole family will love.

  • AED 295 inclusive of unlimited selected beverages and a hubbly bubbly

Dinner was a very surprising affair. Since I am pregnant, we could not sit outdoors in the courtyard to enjoy the ambiance and their popular Sheesha.

The magnificent outdoors lights up at nights with colorful Arabic lanterns giving you a true taste of the modern Arab world. Other than the excellent service, the food itself was lip smacking.

I ordered Spaghetti in Pink Sauce which was extremely delicious and so filling. The chef had made it perfectly and i was extremely happy with my order. The hummus i had ordered for my appetizer was the BEST i had savored. My husband agreed to order the Kale Salad which was recommended by the friendly manager and he was not disappointed. In fact he loved it so much that he chose to not share even a morsel with me 🙂 I also had the mashed potato which was soft and made well. We enjoyed the complimentary breads which were served in the start too.

Facilities and Services:

A temperature controlled pool can be accessed by the guests from 7 am – 7 pm.

The hotel doesn’t have an in house spa but if one does wish to have a massage within the hotel, the kind staff will arrange for a therapist from one of their sister concern hotels to come for a treatment within the privacy of your room.

Their state-of-the-art hotel gym is open 24 hours, making it convenient to work out at any time of day or night.

Tawasal Desk is located in the lobby, complete with the latest technology and services, and supports wireless functionality, including printing. Tawasal means connect in Arabic. Open 24 hours a day, Tawasal is a self-service space, giving you the ability to work at your own pace.

They offer valet parking to the guests and it is to be noted that self-parking is not available. They also have a cycle available which can be borrowed if guests want to go around Downtown and get some basic shopping done.

Located a short walk away, just behind Vida Downtown, the Sheikh Zayed Bin Mansour Al Nahyan Mosque gives guests a place of worship in close proximity to the hotel. The mosque also allows entry to non-Muslims, offering non-Muslim guests a rare opportunity to appreciate traditional Middle Eastern architecture and Arab culture and traditions.

What I loved:

The toiletries are some of the best I have used. They also had a plate of strawberries dipped in chocolate waiting for us in the room to welcome us 🙂 But most of all, we had a bag full of surprises like a Shisiedo Travel Kit, A mini Sheesha and a mini travel pouch which opened up to reveal the Backgammon game. Absolutely loved the thought behind this!
